Board of Trustees vote and approve launching the quiet phase of a comprehensive capital campaign with an anticipated goal of $27 million

Summer

Quiet phase of the comprehensive campaign begins in earnest

October

Providence Day School receives its first $1 million commitment in support of the campaign

June

More than $7.2 million in commitments are secured from our community

December

Providence Day School receives its second $1 million commitment in support of the campaign; the campaign surpasses the $10 million mark in dollars raised

March

Providence Day School receives its third $1 million commitment in support of the campaign

June

More than $13.8 million in commitments secured from community

September

The Providence Day School community celebrates the public launch of the campaign with $15,123,196 million in commitments

April

With more than $18.6 million raised, the school announces it will break ground Summer 2016.

May

The Providence Day School community celebrates the official groundbreaking to signal the start of construction.  At the event, Howard & Julie Levine announced a $1.5 million matching challenge grant.

Site preparation underway for the Academic Center and DeMayo Family Gateway Center.

August

More than $303,000 in cash and commitments has been raised toward the Levine Family Challenge.

September

At the Founders’ Dinner, the school announced the $1.5 million Levine Family challenge had been met, elevating the campaign past the $20 million mark.

The foundation is poured for the Academic Center.

November

Steel begins to shape the Academic Center.

December

More than $22 million in commitments are secured from our community.

January

Latest progress in the construction of the Academic Center.

February

The school’s Endowment surpasses $11 million.

March

Progress continues in the construction of the Academic Center as brick is applied to the facade of the building.

April

The DeMayo Family Gateway Center begins to take shape.

June

The Half-Million Dollar Challenge was announced.

December

The Ribbon Cutting ceremony is held on December 4, 2017 to officially open the new Academic Building and the DeMayo Gateway Center.

 

January

Classes held in the new Academic Center building for the first time.

The Half-Million-Dollar Challenge was met and exceeded.

February

Campaign surpasses $25 million in commitments from those in our Charger community.

April

The $25,000 Grandparent Challenge was announced.

August 
More than $26 million is raised to support the campaign.

November

The Charging Forward $50,000 Community Challenge was announced, met, and exceeded.

December

The Charging Forward Campaign concluded on December 31 raising $27,800,268.89 million to support the students, faculty and staff of PDS.
